The ROBOLI Table Wood 40 × 40 × 6 cm transposes Bois-Debout® expertise – hitherto reserved for anti-vibration feet – into a complete platform. Each shelf contains over 80 hornbeam paving stones (Betulaceae family) arranged in vertical fibers. This “bois de bout” cut absorbs and dissipates mechanical energy with an efficiency unmatched by traditional wirewood: the fiber scissors act like natural microsuspensions, transforming structural vibrations into harmless heat.
Placed under an amplifier, DAC, turntable or even bookshelf speaker, the shelf attenuates resonances that harden the midrange, weaken treble or thicken bass. The result is a quieter dark background, enhanced instrument detailing and a wider soundstage. Combined with ROBOLI’s 3-pin Bois-Debout® tuners, it provides optimal mechanical coupling.
Machined and press-glued in the ROBOLI workshop, each Table Wood is sanded and then oiled by hand to preserve the raw beauty of the charm. Its chamfered edges make it easy to hold and protect your Hi-Fi furniture.
